PMI to Open Mid-Continent Headquarters in Midland
NEW ORLEANS, January 6, 2011 — Production Management Industries (PMI), a division of Superior Energy Services, announces that it will open a Mid-Continent base of operations in Midland, Texas.
Diversity has long been a key component in PMI's continued success, said Donald Mehrtens, Vice President of PMI. Over the years, that has meant offering a wide range of services. To ensure continued growth and to better serve customers, company officials say more diversification is needed but this time the focus will be on geography.
"As land activity continues to increase, especially in the Mid-Continent region, the opportunity to expand PMI's land-based services has become apparent," Mehrtens said. "Expanding our land-based services, which will be based out of our Mid-Continent headquarters, will offset revenue fluctuations due to the challenges of working in the Gulf of Mexico with new regulations, hurricanes and other seasonal factors."
Ronald Courville will be General Manager for the Mid-Continent business unit and oversee the set up of operations in Midland. PMI's Mid-Continent operations will share a facility with sister Superior company, HB Rentals.
